| I always dreamed of being my own boss. When The Quilt Shop opened its doors on
September 1, 1995 my dream came true. The Quilt Shop is a full-service quilting shop. The Shop uses an Ultimate XX quilting machine from American Professional Quilting Systems out of Des Moines, IA. I have been doing machine quilting for many years. I do both freehand and patterned quilting. Most of my work is custom. You decide what type of freehand quilting is done. For the past 20 years I had a custom sewing business in my home. I have been sewing and quilting since I was a youth. I live near Wayne, Nebraska and have 5 children and 3 grandchildren. My Butterfly and Heritage quilts are my two most popular quilts. I also have Block-of-the-Month projects geared for men that include an embroidered deer, gun and hunter. Janet Sievers |
